Uncle Dan planned a perfect fall weekend with sister Connie and nephews Conner and Peyton. The weather was sunny with a little nip in the air. The first order of business was picking out a pumpkin, the first cutting of the season. Jeff drove them to the upper pumpkin patch, where Peyton proved adept with the loppers. Connie helped Conner clip his.

Progress on taking down the milking barn has been slow and steady as illustrated in the photos above. The second story floor served as a sturdy platform for removing the roof shingles.
The rock composing the bottom portion of the barn is being re-purposed and finding new life in the covered bridge as a decorative layer over the concrete footing.
Jeff also cleaned up the area in front of AJ's Bridge and added a rock area for easier walking and mowing.
And added stepping stones to the 16th hole, complete and ready for golf practice of happy hour. A great place to enjoy the late afternoon sun.
